I thought it might be interesting to give others a peek at what websites I visit most often, so here goes:
Everyone is on Facebook now right? If not.. what’s it like living in that cave? I’ve been experimenting a fair bit lately with online advertising for work and Facebook is absolutely my new favourite platform. I must blog about this soon.
I haven’t really been into twitter until recently when I got myself an iPad. Twitter on iPad is absolutely the best device to use it. Jumping in and out of links and images within a tweet is amazingly fluid. Live tweeting with TV shows is also great fun with ABC’s Q&A and Network Ten’s Can of Worms leading the way.
Only for experienced internetters, this site will give you viruses.
It surprises me that there are so many people who visit YouTube all the time, but haven’t registered for their own account! Do yourself a favour… sign up, find people you like, and subscribe to their channels. Now every time you visit, you always have something great to look at
. My favourite channels at the moment – Epic Meal Time, Jenna Marbles, Badge of Shame, Cute Win Fail, The Lonely Island & FreddieW.
My daily news site. I have become increasingly annoyed with News.com.au’s content, and their recent redesign has made me very keen to find a new Australian/Brisbane news site. Any suggestions?
I’m a big fan of Apple products and always keen to see what the rumor mill comes up with since Apple is so bloody secretive.
A great blog that delves mostly into corporate re-branding. I’m really into seeing the thought process behind companies brands and then the many applications of that branding.
Great in-depth news and reviews of everything nerdy and gadgety.
I’m a massive fan of Conan O’Brien and even got to be in the audience during his very short lived stint on the Tonight Show. Lots of great skits and celebrity interviews. Conan recently did a tribute to the grandparents on the webcam video that you should check out.
Great and hilarious comic artist, my favourite series is definately the Bobcats. Me and a colleague have convinced the librarian at work to purchase the grammar series to put up at work.
Gotta love streaming my favourite TV shows whenever I like. ABC’s implementation of web streaming shows is by far the better of all the TV networks in Australia. Good Game, Gruen Transfer and Media Watch are currently on my watchlist. Also compatible with iOS devices and Playstation 3.
Ive been thinking for a fair while that I need some form of online outlet that isnt limited to 140 characters (or similar). So i’ve started a blog to satiate this need.
I havent fully decided what topics I want to concentrate on but at the moment I am thinking a combination of:
The blog design is very Tumblr-esque so I might also pop in photos, links, quotes and videos from time to time.
I’m excited about this new creative outlet, and my question to YOU is.. at would you like me to write about?
